# Data Security, Privacy & Your KnoxID

Data privacy and security are core to how nsKnox operates. Here's how we protect your information, and what happens once your validation is complete.

**Q1. Why does nsKnox require my company’s bank account information?**

The bank details you register are used strictly for verification. Our technology securely matches your input against the data your customer previously provided, cross-referencing it through secure banking networks. This guarantees your customer's future payments are directed only to your legitimate, validated account - preventing payment diversion and fraud.

 

**Q2. How will I know the validation process is finished?**

You'll receive a confirmation email once validation is complete. If you sent a transfer, we're likely reviewing it now. If we need more information (like a bank letter), we'll reach out to you directly.

**Q3. What is a KnoxID?**

A KnoxID is a unique identifier issued once your account is validated. You can share it with other customers who use nsKnox so they can verify your account instantly, without you repeating the validation process.

**Q4. How is my banking data protected?**

We use patent-pending Cooperative Cyber Security (CCS) technology. Your data is digitally shredded, encrypted, and stored across multiple distributed networks, making it tamper-proof.
